When running PostgreSQL, OS X Lion and Mountain Lion were much faster than Ubuntu's Precise Pangolin and Quantal Quetzal.

The Python benchmarks were much faster on Ubuntu than Apple OS X.

Next up are the benchmark results from the late-2010 Apple MacBook Pro with an Intel Core i5 "Arrandale" processor and 160GB OCZ Agility 2 SSD.
