The Nexuiz results show right away the RadeonSI Gallium3D performance isn't pretty right now. The Radeon HD 7850 graphics card on the open-source driver was running a little bit faster than a Radeon HD 6450 driver being powered by the more mature "R600g" open-source driver. Meanwhile, all of the older Radeon graphics cards on this more mature driver were multiple times faster -- even a Radeon HD 4870 was 3x faster than the Radeon HD 7850. The Radeon HD 7950 is also comparatively extremely slow compared to anything powered by R600g, but at least with this beefy hardware it's able to run Nexuiz at 1920 x 1080 with a playable frame-rate.

With the CPU-limited OpenArena 0.8.5 game, the Radeon HD 7850 even came in slower than the Radeon HD 6450.

The OpenArena 0.8.8 results are also disappointing for the RadeonSI Gallium3D driver.
