Sadly, there's no real change in performance with the id Tech 4 Prey game, which may be hitting a performance bottleneck elsewhere in the open-source graphics driver stack.

The VDrift racing game performance is also up nicely with R600g and going from Mesa 8.0 to 8.1 does squeeze some extra frame-rates.

The Warsow 0.61 frame-rate is lower on more recent versions of Mesa than the 7.9.2 release. The important matter here though is that the OpenGL rendering was incorrect on 7.9.2 R600c, so it's faster but wasn't rendering all textures correctly.
