When starting off with OpenArena, the frame-rate went up by 22% on the X1800XL and 16% on the X1800XT when HyperZ was enabled.

The newer OpenArena release saw less of an advantage when toggling the HyperZ support state, but still its performance was trying to inch higher.

World of Padman saw its frame-rate tick up by a few frames per second on each of the tested R500 graphics cards.
