The ioquake3 World of Padman game ended up being much faster with the very latest R600g + Linux 3.7 Git code compared to what's found by default in Ubuntu 12.10, but still there's a long way to go to catch up with the Catalyst driver.

While Marek has worked on Reaction Quake 3 performance optimizations, with R600g right now the performance is simply not playable with the settings used by the Phoronix Test Suite software. Meanwhile, Catalyst continues to run great in comparison.
