The TTSIOD Renderer benchmark results for the FX-8350 were competitive with the i7-3770K and would certainly do good against the more likely i7-3570K competitor.

The second-generation Bulldozer processor did fine with multimedia encoding in the popular VP8 and x264 test profiles.

While VP8 and x264 did well for the new AMD FX processor, Opus audio and FFmpeg video encoding do poorly on the AMD hardware.
