The OpenMP efficiency of the FX-8150 across its eight cores was not as efficient as the quad-core Sandy Bridge CPUs or even the Llano Fusion A8-3850 APU.

With the CPU-bottlenecked OpenArena game with the NVIDIA binary driver controlling the GeForce GTX 460, the FX-8150 was 38% faster than the A8-3850 Llano. The two Sandy Bridge CPUs were faster. (For the graphics testing, the tests were limited to where the components besides the motherboard and CPU were matching and similar software stack.)

The Bulldozer CPU comes in just behind the Sandy Bridge CPUs for the Lightsmark test.
