When running the Unigine Sanctuary tech demo at 1920 x 1080, the FirePro V4900 was performing in line with the FirePro V5900, but the older FirePro V5800 was faster than the new Northern Islands workstation ASICs.
The Evergreen-based FirePro V5800 was also faster than the V4900/V5900 with Unigine Tropics on this latest binary Linux driver release.
With Unigine Heaven, which is the most demanding OpenGL Linux workload, the FirePro V4900 Turks came in right behind the FirePro V5900
