Radeon HD 4870: The Radeon HD 4870 was a fantastic graphics processor for its time, in addition to marking these Linux driver changes. This RV770 graphics card from Sapphire has a factory overclock of 780MHz for its core and 1000MHz for the 512MB GDDR5 video memory. An article worth reading might be the tests I did in June of last year showing how the ATI Catalyst driver has matured since the RV770 launch.
Radeon HD 4890: Rounding out the Radeon HD 4000 series tests is the Radeon HD 4890 with its RV790XT core pushing 850MHz and 975MHz for the 512MB of GDDR5 video memory.
