With the single-threaded POV-Ray ray-tracing test, using the Bulldozer-specific optimizations (march/mtune of bdver1) produced the fastest performance. The -O3 aggressive optimization performance was close to that of local optimizations (-O2 via stock) for this test profile. The other specific compiler tuning flags had little impact on overall performance.
