It took an overclocked A10-5800K to be competitive with the Intel Core i3 numbers in the new Opus audio encoding benchmark.

The A10-5800K faired well for the FFmpeg video encoding benchmark. When overclocked to 4.4GHz, the A10-5800K APU even came out slightly ahead of the Core i7 3770K.
