The "Artwork & Login Behavior" area sets up automatic log-in to a MythTV standalone session and using the Mythbuntu artwork and settings.

For non-free media codecs, this control center supports installing proprietary codecs from Medibuntu, which is the media team for Ubuntu. The codecs supported are w32codecs, w64codecs, libdvdcss2, and ffmpeg.

The advanced area in the Mythbuntu Control Center supports enabling MySQL tweaks, daily defragmentation of XFS file-systems, and daily MythTV database optimization/repair. The update manager, Synaptic package manager, and Terminal can be manually launched.
