Six months later the replacement for Warty Warthog was the Hoary Hedgehog. Ubuntu 5.04 Hoary Hedgehog received a practical makeover when it came to the default theme for this release. The desktop background was a lot more appealing; while sticking with a brown theme, the brown was a lot lighter. The LiveCD also received many improvements in this release. Shipping with Ubuntu 5.04 Hoary Hedgehog was X.Org 6.8.2, Linux 2.6.10, and GNOME 2.10. Starting with Hoary Hedgehog the LiveCD editions available were for x86, x86_64, and PowerPC.
