Above the expansion slots is the NVIDIA C19XE Northbridge, which is toped by an active aluminum heatsink. The heatsink uses a 3-pin fan connection and the heatsink is attached to the Chipset using an eyehole loop design in two opposing corners. Near the Northbridge is also the 4-pin ATX12V power connector.

Moving onto the CPU socket area, the LGA-775 socket on the C19-A SLI is supportive of 1066/800MHz FSB processors, which include Intel Pentium 4 and Pentium D parts. Looking around the socket area, there is quite a bit of power circuitry but when we had mounted processor and heatsink we had ran into no troubles.

At the rear of the motherboard are the PS/2 input, four USB 2.0, one gigabit LAN, one Serial, six audio, two digital SPDIF, and one parallel port. As with other ECS products, the C19-A SLI PCB is purple. Of the ASICs we would have enjoyed seeing on the motherboard would have been a Firewire IEEE-1394a controller.
