The developers over at Linux Game Publishing still have a lot of work ahead of them to polish and fix all of the issues present in the game, but as you can see, the game right now is quite demanding upon the system with older graphics cards. Largely, however, the game is demanding upon the RAM and CPU at this time due to some bugs and memory leaks. Due to this preliminary build, we held off on some of our usual Antialiasing and Anisoptropic Filtering runs as well as other resolutions, but upon an updated X2 build, we will deliver additional performance numbers; in addition to ATI results. Once we see newer BETA candidates, or the official release of the game, we will be appending X2 - The Threat to our arsenal of Linux benchmarks used in other articles and reviews.
