Looking back at both the multi-GPU and single-GPU results there certainly was no evident performance differences between the 1.0-8174 and 1.0-8178 versions. While in some benchmarks the newest drivers took a compact lead while in other scenarios the success returned to the 1.0-8174 Linux display drivers. Nevertheless, a few new improvements can be spotted in the 1.0-8178 drivers making it worth the upgrade.
