2D GPU Benchmarks

Among the many graphics cards tested, from the GeForce 8600GT to GTX TITAN on the NVIDIA (Nouveau) side there wasn't any real performance differences and that was the same on the AMD side from the Radeon X1800XT through the Radeon HD 7850. Outperforming all of the tested AMD Radeon and NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards on their open-source Linux graphics driver was the Intel Haswell-based HD Graphics 4600 of the Core i7 4770K CPU. The xf86-video-intel driver has its very advanced and large "SNA" acceleration architecture that sharply outperforms the EXA implementations of the Radeon and Nouveau drivers or even GLAMOR with the recent Radeon graphics cards.
