Examination:

Unlike the original EZ Power Supply Tester that had a brushed aluminum finish, the EZ Power Supply Tester 2 is anodized blue. The overall layout of the printed instructions and LEDs are relatively the same as the previous model, however, the connectors on both sides of the unit are different. On the bottom side of the device, covering the screw hole, is a small sticker that provides the part and serial numbers. Later on in this article, we'll be disassembling the unit to get a better idea for how the tester actually works and who's the OEM.

On one side of the device is the 24-pin connector, which was previously 20-pins, while on the other side of the unit is now the 4/8-pin P4 connector as well as a 6-pin power connector and the floppy disk connector. In order to make room for all of these new power connections, without causing the demise of any previous interfaces, the 4-pin molex connector has been relocated to the bottom edge of the device while the SATA connector has been placed at the top.
