Linux 3.4 Kernel Released With Many New Features

The Linux 3.4 kernel was released to end out the weekend of Linus Torvalds' with this major kernel release highlighting several new Linux features.
Key features of Linux 3.4 include:
- Intel performance improvements (Sandy Bridge / Ivy Bridge).
- New power management phases and a PCI-E ASPM change.
- The initial Radeon HD 7000 series / Trinity code for the kernel DRM driver. (The user-space Gallium3D support though is still a mess.)
- Many Btrfs changes.
- DMA-BUF PRIME support.
- x32 ABI support.
- Initial GeForce 600 Kepler series support.
The release came right on time as expected last week.
