Integrating Videobuf2 With DMA-BUF Still Being Done

Aside from the ongoing DMA-BUF PRIME enablement work, Linux kernel developers are also still hacking on Videobuf2 with DMA-BUF support.

The purpose of this "Integration of videobuf2 with DMABUF" work allows for importing and exporting of DMA-BUF buffers within the V4L2 (Video 4 Linux 2) stack. Right now DMA-BUF can allow for buffer sharing between DRM drivers, but among SoC vendors and others there has long been interest in enabling DMA-BUF support within V4L2.

The DMA-BUF V4L2 patches are now up to their eighth revision, courtesy of the work done in large part by Samsung and other Linaro members, and will hopefully be primed for the Linux 3.7 kernel.
