The first alpha release for openSUSE 42.2 Leap is now available.

OpenSUSE 42.2 is currently made up to be last year's 42.1 Leap release plus various package updates. However, there is also Qt 5.6, Linux 4.4, and other select updates.

The current hope by openSUSE developers is to make the official 42.2 release at the beginning of November and until then is still more time for package updates, particularly around KDE and GNOME.
