Linux.Conf.Au 2012 Call For Papers

The 2012 Linux.Conf.Au conference will be taking place from the 16th to 20th of January. This very popular Linux conference is taking place next year in the smaller city of Ballarat, which is a few hours outside of Melbourne. The organizers behind this conference have just issued a call for presentations.

For those interested in possibly presenting at this worthwhile event, the Call For Presentations for the event is ending on the 29th of July. Details on the event and CFP are available from the Linux.Conf.Au web-site. There may be Phoronix coverage of the 2012 event.

Besides LCA 2012, other upcoming conferences include the Desktop Summit in Berlin. This early-August conference is jointly hosted by the GNOME and KDE communities and looks like it should be quite an interesting event this year. There will be live Phoronix coverage from the event.

Taking place shortly after the Desktop Summit is the LinuxCon North America event hosted by the Linux Foundation. There will also be live Phoronix coverage and this event is being hosted in Vancouver, Canada.

Running into September is the Linux Plumbers Conference in Santa Rosa, California. The week after that is then the X.Org Developers' Conference that I am organizing in Chicago. The day after that it's on to Oktoberfest in Munich.
