Unigine - NVIDIA / AMD Linux Graphics Performance

Ubuntu 13.04 was the base operating system during this range of AMD Radeon and NVIDIA GeForce Linux OpenGL benchmarking.

Unigine - NVIDIA / AMD Linux Graphics Performance

When running Unigine Valley 1.0 at 1920 x 1080, the GeForce GTX 680 "Kepler" was the fastest graphics card with a frame-rate of 47 FPS. The Radeon HD 7950 "Southern Islands" had an average frame-rate of 38 FPS. For the AMD Catalyst driver, portions of Valley were also rendered incorrectly.

The GeForce GT 220 and Radeon HD 6570 graphics cards could both only deliver a four FPS average for this very demanding tech demo. Aside from the GTX 680 and HD 7950, the only other graphics card that made it above 30 FPS at the HD resolution was the Radeon HD 6950 (31.5 FPS) while the Radeon HD 6870 came up short at 26 FPS.
