Unigine Heaven 2.0 Linux Performance

Across the board, the ATI Radeon HD 4890 graphics card was the fastest at each of the tested resolutions. However, had the Evergreen graphics cards functioned correctly with Heaven 2.0, the Radeon HD 5700/5800 series would have come out ahead. These results show that you also really need a Radeon HD 4700 series graphics card or greater for this game to be playable. Even at 800 x 600, the Radeon HD 4650 could not even hit 30 frames per second. On the NVIDIA side, this would be about a GeForce 9600GT graphics card as the minimum equivalent.

The graphics in Unigine Heaven are certainly great and the best we have seen for Linux. We cannot wait for Primal Carnage and other Unigine-powered titles to be released with Linux support.
