Ubuntu 13.10 32-bit vs. 64-bit Performance
C-Ray and Smallpt are two more workloads that really benefit from 64-bit Linux.
Audio/video encoding also tends to do really well as 64-bit.
The only test case where 32-bit Ubuntu 13.10 was performing well ahead of the 64-bit build was with the Apache web server and our simple single-system test of it.
