Starting with Dbench there is a small improvement in the disk performance out of this laptop with an Intel SSD when moving to Ubuntu 12.10, which is still on the EXT4 file-system.

The Nexuiz frame-rate dropped sharply, looking like a regression but Intel says it might also be due to anti-aliasing changes in the new Mesa 9.0 release used by Ubuntu 12.10.

The OpenArena performance was the same for the Intel Sandy Bridge system between Mesa 8.0 and Mesa 9.0.
