The Gcrypt performance has little impact on Linux kernel changes or GCC compiler differences over the past two and a half years in Ubuntu Linux.

There is also not much to say about the OpenSSL performance in Ubuntu since the Hardy Heron release.

With NASA's NAS Parallel Benchmarks and the LU.A Fortran test, the performance has fluctuated some between Ubuntu 8.04 and 10.10, but it is not remarkably different.

The NPB MG.B test has also improved slightly with succeeding releases.
