Transcend SSD370 256GB

For the FS-Mark tests, the OCZ Vertex 3 was much faster than the Transcend solid-state drive, but that in turn did much better than the 120GB Intel 530 SSD and the old Solid 2 SSD tossed in just for reference and validation purposes.

From the testing done on the Transcend SSD370 25GB solid-state drive so far under Linux, this is looking to be an excellent value SATA3 SSD. The Transcend TS256GSSD370 is priced very well at around $100 for 256GB of storage, to no surprise the SSD runs great under Linux, and the performance based upon this limited comparison is very good. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase for another one of the Linux benchmarking test farm systems. For those in need of more storage capacity, the 512GB Transcend SSD370 costs just ~$180 USD!
