Normally we are used to seeing Windows 10 with Chrome and Firefox running faster than Linux aside from when testing Intel's Clear Linux distribution in the mix. In this testing, the Ryzen 5 4500U laptop continued to see the web browsers on Windows 10 largely outperform Ubuntu 20.10. But in the case of Intel Tiger Lake, Ubuntu 20.10 tended to deliver faster browser benchmarks than Windows on the same hardware -- but with a few exceptions for specific browser workloads that were run faster on the Microsoft OS.
