Examination:

The dimensions for the SilverStone SG05 are 222 x 176 x 276 mm. The total weight for the empty chassis is a mere 940 grams! There is some plastic on this case with the front bezel, but for the most part this is an SECC enclosure. On the front there is a 120mm intake fan, which is covered by a fan filter (thanks SilverStone!) along with two USB 2.0 ports and two audio jacks. The front panel LEDs, power button, and reset button are also located on this front bezel. A slim 5.25" drive bay is exposed at the top of this case.

On the sides of the Sugo SG05 case there are large, oversized vents for providing ample airflow, but beyond that, there is not too much to note. Due to the design of the SG05, only the single 120mm intake fan should be needed to provide airflow throughout the system.

At the rear of the SilverStone Sugo SG05 is access to the rear of the power supply, two expansion slots, and the I/O panel. There are also some additional ventilation holes above the expansion slots. The power supply included with this computer case is from the FSP Group, but has been "tuned by SilverStone." This power supply is rated for a maximum DC output of 300 Watts and has 80 PLUS certification for its efficiency with active PFC. There are two +12V rails with this power supply with there being a maximum of 14 Amps on one and 16 Amps on the other. 22 Amps are provided for the +5V rail.

Inside the Sugo SG05 the design is relatively simple. There is the power supply at top along with a metal cage to host the slim 5.25" drive bay and then internal 3.5" and 2.5" drive bays below that. These drive bays for hard drive usage are rather limited, but with this targeting just mini ITX/DTX systems, these options are sufficient.

The connectors with the included 300W power supply include one 24-pin, one 4-pin ATX12V, one 6-pin PCI-E, one triple SATA, one dual 4-pin molex, and one single FDD connector. There is a single 80mm fan installed in the bottom of this power supply.

When it comes to the expansion slots with this motherboard, cards up to nine inches can be safely installed, which does mean it would be possible to install graphics cards such as the ATI Radeon HD 4850 or NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250.
