Even with ultra quality settings at 1080p, this updated game can easily run fine with Vulkan at over 120 FPS with the R9 Fury or nearly 100 FPS with the RX 480.

With low quality settings at 4K, the Radeon RX 480 is enough for playable frame-rates.

At 4K with high quality settings where the GPU is a bit more busy, the OpenGL vs. Vulkan performance is close on the RX 480 / R9 Fury with RadeonSI vs. RADV.

The most demanding test case with Sam2017 is 4K with ultra quality settings. Here, the OpenGL results were a few frames faster with RadeonSI but overall RADV seems to be holding its ground well with this updated Croteam game.

Stay tuned for more benchmark results soon.
