Pop!_OS 20.04 vs. Ubuntu 20.04 Linux Performance
Of the 269 tests, Pop!_OS 20.04 came in first 197 times (73%), granted many FIO tests happened to be part of this test setup.
But if taking the geometric mean of those 269 benchmarks, the overall performance basically amounts to a tie as we would largely expect given Pop!_OS is based on Ubuntu and both are making use of a Linux 5.4 based kernel, Mesa 20.0, GCC 9.3, etc. But for seeing some of the visual differences with Pop!_OS 20.04:
