With PBZIP2 largely being CPU intensive, the results were fairly close between the two SSDs and single HDD. However, in this real-world test, the 120GB OCZ Agility was a few seconds faster than the OCZ Vertex and then in last was the 5400RPM HDD.

The OCZ Agility really shined when it came to the Bork performance where it was nearly twice as fast as the Fujitsu HDD, which was even faster than the 64GB OCZ Vertex in this Java-powered test.

The OCZ Agility took another lead over the Vertex (and the HDD too) when it came to the database performance with SQLite to perform 12,500 insertions.
