As you can see from the result above that was generated by simply running phoronix-test-suite batch-benchmark lightsmark and then phoronix-test-suite analyze-batch lightsmark-resuts, this OpenGL 2.0 demo is no issue at all for the GeForce GTX 280M. Even when running at 1920 x 1200, the GPU was still pushing out over 300 frames per second.

Switching the focus to the popular open-source game Nexuiz, it was running at around 32 FPS the entire time. The Nexuiz 2.5 test profile was run with high quality graphical settings (including High Dynamic Range) and the test demo used by the Phoronix Test Suite is rather demanding, but here the GTX 280M couldn't surpass 35 frames per second.
