GeForce 700 vs. Radeon Rx 200 Series With The Latest Linux Drivers
These results overall continue to show NVIDIA's hardware with their first-rate Linux driver doing very well against Catalyst. With Unigine Valley, the Radeon R9 290 was again just performing between a GTX 760 and GTX 770.
The AMD Catalyst Linux driver does quite poorly with Catalyst... The R9 290 was noticeably slower than even the GeForce GTX 760, when benchmarking from the same system and using the very latest public drivers.
