With Warsow there seems to be a measurable regression in performance for both of these NVIDIA GPUs on the Nouveau driver under Linux 3.19.

Aside from the regression with Warsow, there wasn't much to look at for the Nouveau performance changes with Linux 3.19 for these two partially-reclocked NVIDIA Kepler GPUs. The next big performance gain out of Nouveau will likely be when the higher performance states begin to work, but it's not ultimately clear when this huge re-clocking challenge will be solved unless NVIDIA steps up to the plate and begins offering technical support or documentation for Nouveau developers covering this critical functionality. Hopefully NVIDIA will also provide the signed firmware images soon enough for supporting GeForce 900 series hardware acceleration with Nouveau. Right now the ball is in NVIDIA's court; stay tuned to Phoronix to find out how the play ends.
