More interesting open-source AMDGPU/Radeon vs. open-source Nouveau data with the GpuTest results.

These OpenGL test results today show that with the very latest (yet-to-be-mainlined) Nouveau kernel patches, the GeForce 600/700 series Kepler graphics cards can be much more competitive on the open-source driver compared to the open-source AMDGPU/Radeon DRM kernel drivers with RadeonSI Gallium3D. The Radeon cards still tended to be more competitive with this pure open-source comparison, but it was a much more competitive match. Of course, the same can't be said on the proprietary driver side. If you want to see the before and after Nouveau results as well as a comparison to the proprietary driver, see the recent Nouveau "boost" testing. Hopefully these Nouveau patches will be ready for merging into Linux 4.7 (rather than Linux 4.8) but even then still keep in mind you must manually re-clock your NVIDIA graphics processor, the performance states need to be manually switched between, and your mileage may vary based upon the GPU. If you want to help the Nouveau team out in testing the latest patches, see here.
