DiRT Rally 2.0 is one of the prominent Windows games running well under Linux thanks to Valve's Steam Play and making use of DXVK for translating the Direct3D calls to Vulkan.

When not pressing the graphics too hard for DiRT Rally 2.0, the Radeon RX 5700 XT was outperforming the GeForce RTX 2080 but with the higher quality visuals was more of a challenge running with the RTX 2080 but still doing great while the RX 5700 was a great deal faster than the RTX 2070.

With high quality visuals at 4K, the Radeon RX 5700 XT had just above a 60 FPS average with the 5700 XT at 67 FPS to the RTX 2080 coming in at 72 FPS.

The Dawn of War III Linux port with Vulkan was still a tougher challenge for the Navi graphics cards with the RX 5700 coming in shy of the RTX 2060 while the RX 5700 XT was just above the RTX 2060 and in line with the RX Vega 64. Hopefully RADV Vulkan driver performance optimizations can still come in time for Mesa 19.2.

The Dawn of War III results at high quality settings also showed the Radeon parts having a tougher challenge likely due to missed RADV optimizations.
