GraphicsMagick uses the OpenMP library and with the local adaptive thresholding test it scaled quite well across the available cores, but PC-BSD continued to have its dip at three and four cores.

The image resizing in GraphicsMagick really does not add anything new to the table.

Lastly, the image sharpening process didn't scale particularly well, but PC-BSD again continued to not scale as well with three and f our cores, but it was on target with the Linux operating systems at two cores and at six cores.
