When running SQLite, the performance dropped rather noticeable with EXT4 on Linux 2.6.37 compared to the previous two releases while it improved on Btrfs going from the 2.6.36 to 2.6.37 kernels. The Btrfs 2.6.37 SQLite performance though is not the same as where it was at with the Linux 2.6.35 kernel.

The Gzip performance regressed under both EXT4 and Btrfs with the Linux 2.6.37 kernel.

The time it took to unpack the Linux kernel source-code package was unchanged between releases.
