PostgreSQL took an even larger performance hit with the Linux 2.6.32 kernel due to this EXT4 change.

The C-Ray ray-tracing performance between the three kernels was indifferent.

The x264 video encoding performance was the fastest with the Linux 2.6.32 kernel, which can be attributed to some scheduler improvements that have been made the past few months.
