The Hackbench Linux kernel scheduler benchmark is one case where since Linux 4.13 the performance has slowed down.

Though with Linux 4.14 and newer, the time it takes to boot the kernel has fortunately sped up by about one second.

No wild swings with PostgreSQL, but this was tested with just a single thread for Postgres due to a stability issue currently with the higher number of instances.

Nothing major to report from Redis.
