HDD/SSD Performance With MDADM RAID, BCache On Linux 4.14
In the case of FS-Mark, the Samsung 850 PRO SSD was faster than two cheaper Toshiba SSDs in RAID0. But still for those that haven't upgraded to flash-based storage yet, you can see clearly how much faster SSDs are over older rotational media.
With the multi-threaded FS-Mark run, nothing was coming close to the Samsung 850 PRO speeds and the HDD wasn't that much slower than the Toshiba SSDs.
