With SQLite as used by many Linux desktop applications, Clear Linux was the only distribution seeing different performance from the rest. Clear Linux was faster and that's likely due to its use of various performance-focused CFLAGS/CXXFLAGS by default.

With FS-Mark, Clear Linux was also delivering the fastest out-of-the-box performance followed by Ubuntu 16.10. In last for the FS-Mark tests was Debian 9 Testing.

Clear Linux also rounded out the I/O tests with a win in Compile Bench.
