Even for demanding OpenGL test cases, the updated AMDGPU kernel driver in Linux 5.7 was helping out the Navi performance in these cases too. In some cases with these benchmarks the uplift on Linux 5.7 helped in closing the performance gap between the RX 5700 XT and Radeon VII.

Across the different test cases carried out so far, the Polaris and Vega performance was flat while the Radeon RX 5700 XT saw about 3~4% faster performance compared to the prior kernel. This improvement out of the new kernel was also enough to finally push the RX 5700 XT overall faster than the Radeon VII on Linux.
