openSUSE Tumbleweed and Clear Linux were running the fastest with the 7-Zip compression benchmark.

Fedora Server 27 and Ubuntu 18.04 were taking a few seconds longer than the others, which notably are using GCC 7, but Clear Linux's use of GCC 7 hadn't caused a slowdown for this build-linux-kernel test profile.

OpenSUSE secured some additional wins with C-Ray and Gzip compression.
