While Sandy Bridge New Acceleration is about 2D acceleration, its DDX driver changes have caused some games and other OpenGL applications to perform differently when enabled. In the case of SNA in its current state from the Intel Core i5 2520M mobile system, there's a few-frame improvement in some cases but nothing shocking like we have seen at some points in the past with SNA's constantly changing history. Well, at least for Doom 3, Nexuiz, and OpenArena.
