While the ioquake3 engine also powers World of Padman, here it performed even better relative to the other graphics cards and their driver options. The Core i5 2500K easily beat out the Radeon HD 4550/4650/5450 graphics cards on Gallium3D, the NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 with its Gallium3D driver via the reverse-engineering Nouveau project, and it even managed to overtake the Radeon HD 4830 graphics card on the Gallium3D driver. Obviously, the Sandy Bridge graphics overpowering the Radeon HD 4830 was just with the Gallium3D driver, which is multiple times slower than the Catalyst driver.
