With the image-scaling test on the X Render extension, the Radeon HD 2600PRO pulled out ahead of the Clarkdale on-CPU graphics processor.

With the JXRenderMark test doing transformed blit linear, the Clarkdale graphics processor was much faster than any of the Radeon graphics cards with their open-source driver stack.

With the radial gradient paint operation, the Intel graphics continued to be the fastest, but the Radeon driver produced more competitive results than the first test.

In our last JXRenderMark test, which is also the final results we are sharing in this article, the 12pt text LCD test ran much better on the ATI graphics cards than with the Intel graphics.
