First up are several benchmarks using Intel's oneAPI Level Zero test cases for their recently 1.0-ratified low-level interface to their unified programming model.

As can be seen particularly from the compute tests, the Xe Graphics on the Core i7-1165G7 provide incredible uplift over the Gen11 Ice Lake performance and especially compared to the Gen9 graphics that currently dominate the market. Seeing Gen12 come to Intel desktops next year with Rocket Lake should be incredibly interesting and a long overdue upgrade compared to Gen9.

With the oneAPI Level Zero tests the Core i7 1165G7 power consumption was about five Watts higher than the i7-1065G7 on average or a peak power consumption 18 Watts higher, but on a performance-per-Watt basis it was paying off -- the compute tests were leading for Tiger Lake or in worst case were comparable power efficiency results to Ice Lake.
